Aquí te presentamos itinerarios que involucran cargar una mochila, acampar y cocinar con calentadores a la intemperie; o una opción más cómoda y liviana, utilizando el sistema de Refugios de Montaña del Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi.
Our most classic Bariloche expeditions are specially designed for those who want to get to know the Andean mountains and lakes in depth. Here we present itineraries that involve carrying a backpack, camping and cooking with outdoor heaters; or a more comfortable and lighter option, using the Mountain Shelter system of the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
UNA NOCHE EN EL REFUGIO FREY

El refugio Frey está rodeado de un antiguo circo glaciario de torres y agujas rocosas de granito y esta ubicado a orillas de la Laguna Toncek de verdes y frías aguas, a 1700 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Iniciaremos nuestra caminata en la base del centro de ski del Cerro Catedral y caminaremos por un sendero de 10 kms con una excelente vista del Lago Gutiérrez que de a poco se internará en el Bosque Andino Patagónico. El desnivel de subida es de 700 metros y en total demandara entre 4 y 6 horas de marcha llegar al refugio. El Refugio Frey se encuentra abierto todo el año, incluyendo los meses invernales. En verano existe la opción de circuito por el filo del Cerro Catedral y finalizar en la base del mismo.
The Frey refuge is surrounded by an ancient glacial circus of towers and rocky granite spiers and is located on the shores of the Toncek Lagoon of green and cold waters, at 1700 meters above sea level. We will start our walk at the base of Cerro Catedral ski center and we will walk along a 10 km trail, with an excellent view of Lake Gutiérrez, that will gradually penetrate into the Andean Patagonian Forest. The elevation gain is 700 meters and in total it will take between 4 - 6 hours to reach the refuge. Refugio Frey is open all year round, including the winter months. In summer there is the option of a circuit along the edge of Cerro Catedral which ends at the base of it.
UNA NOCHE EN EL REFUGIO OTTO MEILING

El Refugio Otto Meiling se encuentra ubicado en el Monte Tronador, entre los glaciares Castaño Overa y Alerce, a 2000 msnm. Un marco natural extremadamente hermoso. El trekking para llegar al refugio inicia en Pampa Linda y es por un sendero de 14 kms y 1050 metros de desnivel que nos demandará entre 5 y 7 horas de marcha.
El Tronador ofrece un terreno glaciar óptimo para la práctica de la escalada en hielo. Desde aquí se pueden escalar los 3 picos del Monte Tronador: el Pico Argentino (3185 msnm), el Internacional (3478 msnm) y el Chileno. Opcionalmente desde el mismo refugio se podrá contratar excursiones a Pico Argentino y caminatas para conocer los glaciares más a fondo.
The Otto Meiling Refuge is located on Mount Tronador, between the Castaño Overa and Alerce glaciers, at 2000 meters above sea level. An extremely beautiful natural landscape. The trekking to reach the refuge begins in Pampa Linda and is on a 14 kilometer path with a 1050 meter drop that will take between 5 and 7 hours to walk. The Tronador offers optimal glacial terrain for ice climbing. From here you can climb the 3 peaks of Monte Tronador: the Argentine Peak (3185 masl), the International (3478 masl) and the Chilean. Optionally, from the same refuge you can hire excursions to Pico Argentino and walks to get to know the glaciers closer.
TRAVESÍA FREY - JAKOB

Esta travesía de 3 días (2 noches) te ofrece la oportunidad de sumergirte en la Cordillera de los Andes utilizando la comodidad que ofrecen los tradicionales refugios de montaña del Club Andino Bariloche.
Viví la experiencia de recorrer una de las travesías clásicas del Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, conociendo Bosques Patagónicos, lagunas de altura, filos, valles y los clásicos refugios de montaña: Frey y Jakob.
OPCIONAL: Se puede extender esta travesía con 2 días y 1 noche más, combinándola con el Refugio Laguna Negra y Refugio López, para asi completar la Travesía 4 Refugios.
This 3 days (2 nights) journey offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Andes Mountains using the comfort offered by the traditional mountain lodges of the Club Andino Bariloche. Live the experience of taking one of the classic expeditions of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, getting to know Patagonian forests, high lagoons, edges, valleys and the classic mountain refuges: Frey and Jakob. OPTIONAL: This journey can be extended with 2 days and 1 night more, combining it with the Laguna Negra Refuge and the Lopez Refuge, in order to complete the 4 Refuge Crossing.

TRAVESÍA LAGUNA NEGRA - CERRO LÓPEZ

Esta clásica travesía, perteneciente al tour de los 4 Refugios, conecta el Refugio de la Laguna Negra con el Refugio del Cerro López, atravesando filos cumbreros desde donde podrá apreciar vistas maravillosas del Monte Tronador, del Lago Nahuel Huapi y de toda la zona del Circuito Chico y Colonia Suiza. En esta travesía también tendremos oportunidad de hacer cumbre en el Pico Turista de 2070 msnm del Cerro López. Para esta salida se requiere tener experiencia previa en trekking de travesía.
This classic journey, belonging to the tour of the 4 Refuges, connects the Refuge of Laguna Negra with the Refuge of Cerro Lopez, crossing summit ridges from where you can appreciate wonderful views of Mount Tronador, lake Nahuel Huapi and the entire Circuito Chico area and Colonia Suiza. In this journey we will also have the opportunity to make a summit at the Pico Turista 2070 masl of Cerro Lopez. For this expedition it is required to have previous experience in trekking.
TRAVESÍA 4 REFUGIOS

Esta travesía de 4 días ( 3 noches) es el circuito por excelencia de Bariloche, en donde podrás cruzar una buena parte de la Cordillera de los Andes, lagunas andinas de altura, filos rocosos y el Bosque Andino Patagónico utilizando la comodidad que ofrecen los refugios de montaña del Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi. Para esta salida es imprescindible un buen estado físico y experiencia en trekking de travesía.
This 4 days (3 nights) journey is the quintessential circuit of Bariloche, where you can cross a good part of the Andes Mountains, high Andean lagoons, rocky edges and the Andean Patagonian Forest using the comfort offered by the refuges of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. For this expedition a good physical condition and experience in trekking are essential.

TRAVESÍA DE LAS 5 LAGUNAS

The journey of the Five Lagoons is an incomparable experience in Northern Patagonia. This expedition of al least 5 days and 4 nights through the Andes Mountains offers the opportunity to camp in some of the most rugged and remote places of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, on the shore of the high mountain lagoons and thus enjoy peace of nature, starry nights and the intimacy of a personalized expedition.

TRAVESÍA PASO DE LAS NUBES

Esta travesía a los pies del Monte Tronador de 2 días y 1 noche de duración se realiza a la vista de los glaciares colgantes de Castaño Overa, Alerce y Frías. Iniciaremos nuestra travesía en Pampa Linda, pernoctaremos en el moderno Refugio Agostino Rocca y al siguiente día finalizaremos nuestra caminata en el lago Frías y Puerto Blest. Esta experiencia finalizará navegando las aguas turquesas del Lago Frías y el Brazo Blest del Lago Nahuel Huapi hasta Puerto Pañuelo. En su recorrido se atraviesa el Paso de las Nubes ubicado a 1335 msnm donde se ubica el Refugio Agostino Rocca.
Opcionalmente se puede agregar una noche y una jornada para conocer el Refugio Otto Meiling o la Laguna Ilon y sus majestuosas vistas del Monte Tronador reflejadas en la misma laguna.
This 2 days 1 night trek at the foot of Mount Tronador takes place in full view of the hanging glaciers of Castaño Overa, Alerce and Frías. We will start our journey in Pampa Linda, we will spend the night in the modern Refugio Agostino Rocca and the next day we will finish our walk in Lake Frías and Puerto Blest. This experience will end by sailing the turquoise waters of Lake Frías and the Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Pañuelo. On its route, it crosses the Cloud Pass located at 1335 meters above sea level where the Agostino Rocca Refuge is located. Optionally you can add a night and a day to visit the Otto Meiling Refuge or the Ilon Lagoon and its majestic views of Mount Tronador reflected in the same lagoon.

CRUCE DE LOS ANDES POR PASO VURILOCHE

Travesía de 7 días cruzando los Andes, iniciando en Argentina y finalizando en Chile. Desde Pampa Linda, a los pies del majestuoso Monte Tronador, comenzamos a caminar hacia el oeste para llegar en una jornada hasta el puesto de Carabineros de Chile. Luego iniciamos un largo descenso por los verdes valles de Chile, atravesando reductos vírgenes de selva Valdiviana a los pies del Tronador, increíbles vistas de los glaciares colgantes del Ventisquero Blanco, vertientes naturales de aguas termas donde podremos relajarnos y recargar energías y conociendo a pobladores rurales totalmente auto suficientes del "Lejano Este" chileno. Nuestra travesía finalizará en el pequeño poblado costero de Ralún, sobre el fiordo del Estero Reloncavi. Desde Ralún, tomaremos un transfer o transporte público hasta Puerto Varas, desde donde se podrá viajar nuevamente en 5 horas a Bariloche en servicio internacional de ómnibus.
La belleza extrema de la naturaleza andina y el desafió de caminar desde la Cordillera de los Andes hasta el Océano Pacifico será una experiencia que permanecerá en su memoria de por vida.
This is a 7 days expedition crossing the Andes Mountains, starting in Argentina and ending in Chile. From Pampa Linda, at the foot of the majestic Mount Tronador, we start walking west to reach the post of Carabineros de Chile Border Patrols in one day. Then we start a long descent through the green valleys of Chile, crossing virgin redoubts of Valdivian jungle at the foot of the Tronador, incredible views of the hanging glaciers of the Ventisquero Blanco, natural springs of hot waters where we can relax and recharge energy and met fully self-sufficient rural inhabitants of the Chilean "Far East". Our journey will end in the small coastal town of Ralun, on the Reloncavi fjord. From Ralun, we will take a transfer or public transportation to Puerto Varas, from where you can return to Bariloche in 5 hours by international bus service.
The extreme beauty of the Andean nature and the challenge of walking from the Andes Mountains to the Pacific Ocean will be an experience that will remain in your memory for ever.
